A Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center
The Laurels of Gahanna is centrally located at 5151 North Hamilton Road between Morse Road and State Route 161. The geographic location is ideal for serving the Gahanna, New Albany, Westerville and Northeast Columbus communities. Our 112 bed facility promotes the highest level of care and quality of life to guests who are with us for short-term respite, rehabilitation or hospice care or for extended stays.
Laurel Health Care Company is very pleased to invest in the local community by improving the amenities for our guests. The Laurels of Gahanna has recently completed a renovation of common areas and private rehabilitation suites to provide all of our guests with a home-like environment. This provides convenience for our guests and continuity of care that will help you recover from surgery, an injury or an illness so you may resume your activities of daily living as soon as possible. We can even do a home evaluation prior to your discharge to identify the services and equipment you will need for a successful homecoming.
If you plan to make The Laurels of Gahanna your long-term home, you will see that we consider it an honor and a privilege to have you with us. Our guests receive excellent daily medical care from our long-standing nursing staff, while the remainder of our staff offers you events, activities and opportunities that keep your life interesting, satisfying and purposeful.
It is all made possible by something that is unique to us: The Laurel Way of Caring. This philosophy ensures that you consistently will be offered the dignity, respect, companionship and compassion due to any member of our Laurel family.

During my darkest hours, The Laurels of Gahanna provided me with a path to recovery. Where I used to hurt when touched, I now give high fives and hand shakes; where I couldn't stand or walk, I now do both on my own, and quite well. My crew did a fine job in rehabilitating me. Thanks a MILLION!
My mother was at this facility after surgery for rehab. The staff was very kind and welcoming. Made her feel loved and cared for when we couldn’t be there with her. We are so grateful for everything they did for her. She is doing amazing now thanks to them!
During these difficult times, constant good care has been the norm for our sister. We were able to visit face to face for the first time this week and all necessary precautions were taken to insure a safe and very special visit. The staff is so caring and willing to help with any of our requests. Thank you to all at The Laurels of Gahanna.
